Kristina Waugh

​

Kristina Waugh is the choral director at Rossview High School in Clarksville, Tennessee and serves as the lead teacher for choral music in Clarksville Montgomery County Schools.

 

Kristina has been teaching music for the past 17 years and her experience includes both elementary and secondary choral music. She received her Bachelor of Music in Music Education, Master of Music in Music Education, and Kodaly Certification from Capital University.

 

Kristina was the 2022 CMCEA Distinguished Teacher of the Year for Rossview High School, 2019 Teacher of the Year for Rossview Middle School and was selected as one of 34 music teachers in the country to be honored as a Country Music Association Teacher of Excellence in 2018 and 2023. Kristina received a WTHI TV Golden Apple award for her teaching at Northview High School in Brazil, Indiana in 2012.
